“Spare,” a memoir by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is set to be released on Jan. 10, 2023, according to publisher Penguin Random House.
The title appears to be a nod to the phrase “an heir and a spare,” reflecting his position as the second-born son of King Charles III.
The 416-page book will touch on the 1997 funeral of Harrys mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, and his life in the royal family.
“SPARE is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief,” Penguin Random House said in a release.
Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, stepped down as working royals in early 2020 and have since moved to the United States.
