Two days after launching her new podcast Archetypes, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, ousted Joe Rogan’s The Joe Rogan Experience from the top spot on Spotify’s US podcast chart this week.
According to The Wrap, the former senior royal’s podcast, which began this week, also rose to No. 1 in Australia, Canada, and the UK, where Markle still enjoys a devoted following despite her and Prince Harry’s departure from the royal family in 2021.
Archetypes has also outpaced the Game of Thrones podcast that focused on the brand-new Sunday premiere spin-off, House of the Dragon.
In the podcast, Markle talks about the prejudices that women encounter in the workplace and in society.
Serena Williams, the legendary tennis player, was her first interviewee.
