Prince Harry reached out to old friends and former girlfriends to contribute to his controversial memoir, “Spare,” according to The Sun.
Tensions are high ahead of the books Jan. 10 release. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wont return to the U.K. for Christmas, the Sun reported, though not for the first time.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working royals in early 2020 and have since moved to the U.S. amid a rift with the family.
The memoirs title seems to refer to the phrase “an heir and a spare,” reflecting Harrys position as the second son of King Charles III.
The 416-page book will touch on the 1997 funeral of Harrys mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, and his life in the royal family.
