Prince William is celebrating his 40th birthday.
Prince William was born on June 21, 1982.
The Duke of Cambridge is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales.
William accompanied his parents on a tour of New Zealand in 1983.
In September of 1984, Williams brother Harry was born.
Three years later, in 1987, Prince William arrived for his first day of school at Wetherby in West London.
His mother, Diana, died tragically in a car crash on August 31, 1997 William was just 15; Harry was 12.
William was enrolled at Eton College in Windsor, England at the time of her death.
After finishing his studies, he traveled the world and later enrolled at the University of St. Andrews in 2001…

The pair tied the knot with a lavish royal wedding on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London, England.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went on to have three children together Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.
