King Charles Pays Tribute To Late Queen In First Christmas Message

In his first Christmas message as monarch, King Charles acknowledged the many people struggling to “pay their bills and keep their families fed and warm.”t
The message comes amid a cost-of-living crisis in the U.K., and a wave of strikes by nurses, rail workers and postal workers.
Christmas is a particularly poignant time for all of us who have lost loved ones,” the King said, paying tribute to his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth.
