The planned Meghan and Harry documentary on Netflix has reportedly been delayed as a result of criticism of the company’s other popular British royal show The Crown.
Deadline claims that the streamer now intends to release the series the following year.
The Archewell-produced documentary, which followed the duke and duchess for more than a year, was initially scheduled for a November release timed to the season-five premiere of The Crown.
However, Netflix reportedly decided to postpone the release after receiving criticism from a former British prime minister who took issue with a plotline in the fictionalized account of Queen Elizabeth’s life.
