The second day of celebrations in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee are underway.
The day began with members of the royal family attending a service of thanksgiving at London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, June 3.
Notably, Queen Elizabeth was not in attendance, following news that she was experiencing discomfort.
The Queen previously appeared twice on the Balcony of Buckingham Palace during Thursday’s Trooping the Colour ceremony.
The palace later issued a statement saying that the Queen had decided to miss Friday’s service with great reluctance.
Still, all eyes were on other members of the royal family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were also in attendance at Friday’s service.
